I see you've stumbled upon my portion of the Final Turn AL4 blog. My real name is Dustin Henry, and I do hope that you'll continue to return here for all of my well thought out posts on the subject of Cardfight!! Vanguard.
While my tenure in this card game is not nearly as long as my other teammates. I was introduced to the game after Extra Booster 3 was released in the United States. The first deck I learned to play the game with was Spike Brothers, and from there I think I've played at least one deck from each clan. I love the aspect of Kagero, as my personal play style is to control my opponent's field.
My teammates are highly informed on the subject of this particular card game, and we each give a different outlook on the game. While most people in our local area look at each of us as some of the better players around, I still feel that I have much more room to improve.
I love to use other people's decks at our current locals, just to try and get a feel for different outlooks on the game. One of my friends, who we affectionately call Fumbles, has even made me open my eyes as of late, in that I have been too narrow-minded in my thinking.
I actually invite everyone to give me your input about my thoughts on the card game. I enjoy learning things from a different players perspective, as that allows me to see other peoples strategies.
I remember discussing the topic of Holy Mage, Manawydan vs Gigantech Destroyer with Brandon Bastianelli(Chicago Regional Championship Winner) that evening after the tournament in the lobby. We both walked away from the discussion understanding that it come down to player's preference.
I think I will wrap up my little introduction here before this scrolls on for too long.I hope that you will learn a little bit about my perspective in Vanguard. Though, I do hope to learn from the readers as well, as everyone has a different outlook on the game.
Don't forget to keep in-touch with the team on our Facebook and Youtube pages. We'll be uploading more content, and in-depth analyses of certain cards, decks, and even talk about the varying metas that seem to sweep our locals, and we will discuss how each set stacks up against the rest.
